- trained in the discipline of heritage garden research and is Western Canada's heritage garden resource person. Her research papers and reports are in the Provincial Archives of B.C. housed in Victoria.

An environmental and eco-activist since 1986 Sharon Rempel is challenging outdated systems with her work with heritage seeds, folk music and cultural bio-diversity.

Pioneer of organic agriculture in Alberta 25 years ago and pack leader in the heritage seed movement Sharon is a prolific writer, passionate speaker and integrative community developer.

Sharon is President of a registered charity called The Garden Institute where she is a project manager and mentor. She is Red Fife wheat's godmother.

Sharon has run her own consulting and researchbusiness since 1986 in organic agriculture, heritage seed, research and project management.
